What is a Deep Sit?
Meditators of all levels are welcome to join Open Level Deep Sits. Whether you are a new or seasoned meditator, Deep Sit half-day retreats are an excellent way to deepen your meditation practice. They are also a great opportunity to explore retreat practice for the first time.
The day is structured so that if you are new you have lots of support and plenty of time to ask questions. And if you are an experienced meditator, you have time for continuous practice, to dive deep.
The atmosphere is welcoming and fun and we gather together after the retreat to eat and hang and talk about our experiences.
This retreat will be led by Janusz and Rakhel, co-founders of Deep Mindfulness Collective.

What will the schedule be like?
The day will begin with conversation and instruction on meditation practice, move into alternating periods of sitting and moving meditation, and end with a group process for sharing experiences that arise throughout the day.
And we'll go out to eat and hang together at a local spot after the retreat!
The cost for this retreat is $90 - $130. We have full and partial scholarships available for those who identify as POC and/or LGBTQI, and social justice organizers. Paying above the minimum enables us to offer scholarships to those who would otherwise be unable to attend, and enables us to continue this offering. If this amount is beyond your means, please contact Rakhel at firstname.lastname@example.org. No one will be turned away for lack of funds.
